Power Ranger Sentenced to Death for Murder lol
One of the guys on the original Power Rangers Show was just sentenced to death:Actor SKYLAR DELEON has been sentenced to death for murdering Arizona couple TOM and JACKIE HAWKS. The former child star and Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers regular has been convicted of chaining the couple to the anchor of the luxury yacht they were trying to sell him and throwing them overboard in 2004. Their bodies have never been found. Deleon then claimed the boat as his own. His lawyer pleaded for a life sentence, but the jury chose to serve up the most severe penalty. Orange County Superior Court Judge Frank F. Fasel imposed the death sentence recommended on Friday (10Apr09). DeLeon was also convicted in the 2003 killing of Jon Jarvi

eminem set to perform at the movie awards
Show airs live on Sunday, May 31, at 9 p.m. ET.Eminem has been tapped to perform at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, airing live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Sunday, May 31, at 9 p.m. ET. Andy Samberg will host.
Em's performance will come just a few days after the May 19 release of his much-anticipated new album, Relapse, (featuring the single and video "We Made You," which premiered on MTV last week).
Later on Monday (April 13), viewers will be able to vote online and on their mobile phones to select the nominees for the 18th annual Movie Awards. On May 4, the nominees will officially be announced, and viewers will once again be able to vote for their favorites online and from their mobile phones. The second round of voting closes on May 18, with the exception of the Best Movie category, which will remain open throughout the show.
Eminem won't be the only performer taking the stage at the Movie Awards — last year, Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls had the honors — but we're not ready to reveal who will be joining him on May 31 just yet.
Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

lupe fiasco and others set to climb mount kilimanjaro
According to hiphopdx.com, Emcee Lupe Fiasco, along with Justin Timberlake and Ethiopian-born Pop singer Kenna will climb Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness about the global water crisis.
"My dad almost died as a child from waterborne diseases in Ethiopia, and he had talked to me about digging a well there, and I thought, ‘I have too many friends who would be concerned with the subject of clean water. Maybe I can help out," Kenna told Elle magazine.
If the three artists make it to the summit they will have climbed Africa’s highest peak. The mountain, which is located in Tanzania, is nearly 20,000 feet high.
"I’m an adventure junkie,” explained Lupe Fiasco. “Part of the motivation is beating Kenna to the top. Sabotaging his tent, taking the lining out of his coat, lacing it with ants or something like that."
The lengthy climb is expected to take place some time during fall later this year.

A woman stunned onlookers by jumping into a polar bear enclosure at a zoo Friday, suffering serious injuries after one of the four bears inside attacked her.
Zookeepers at the Berlin Zoo fought off the attacking bear from outside the enclosure as they pulled the German woman, 32, to safety, Britain’s Daily Telegraph reported.

amerie set to drop another album
Fans of Amerie can finally stop holding their breath. The R&B songstress confirmed the name of her fourth studio album, Break Ups to Make Ups, today via her Twitter page. The project, set for release in June/July, is her first with Island Def Jam.“As an artist, what I want more than anything is for you to feel where I’m coming from, for you to FEEL,” Amerie wrote in a tweet. “I don’t know how to put it any other way.”
The “1 Thing” hitmaker is currently in the studio recording with producer Warryn “Baby Dubb” Campbell, who has crafted hits for R&B singer Musiq Soulchild and gospel group Mary Mary.
Amerie was formerly signed to Columbia Records. Her previous album, 2007’s Because I Love It, received a limited release.
