ne-yo breaks the silence about lv incident
R'n'B star Ne-Yo has broken his silence over a Christmas (08) brawl with rapper Jim Jones, insisting neither party intended to do harm during the New York incident.
Jones has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanour assault charge, stemmingfrom the Christmas Eve (24Dec08) fight at a Manhattan Louis Vuitton store, where members of his entourage clashed with Ne-Yo's manager, JaVogn Smith.
The Miss Independent singer claims he was shopping with Smith when Jones and two pals walked into the shop and confronted them for reasons unknown to Ne-Yo.
And the Grammy winner insists that what began as a heated exchange simply got out of hand.
He says, "I guess Jim Jones and Vogn have had drama in the past, or whatever, so Vogn taps me on the shoulder, like , "Look who just walked in here.' "So I turn and I see Jim, (and he) beelines straight for us. And they get to exchanging words back and forth, back and forth".

Ne-Yo adds, "Jim Jones wasn't necessarily trying to hurt nobodyhe was more trying to embarrass, trying to humiliate Vogn. And Vogn, being who he is, wasn't going for that.

I found an excerpt where Cam'ron claims he stopped speaking to Juelz because of his addiction to syrup and getting high. When asked about his and Juelz Santana's relationship, here's what Cam had to say:

Rihanna Wont Press Charges
According to a person close to Rihanna, the R&B singer will not file criminal charges against R&B singer Chris Brown for assault and battery.
Last night, Chris Brown was arrested and released on $50,000 bail in connection with an alleged assault against R&B singer Rihanna Fenty. Chris and Rihanna got into a scuffle while leaving Saturday night’s Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy party.
A person close to the situation said that the scuffle was caused by the couple’s recent break up. the couple had been ratcheting down on their high-profile love affair. Numerous sources confirmed that Chris wanted to END the relationship - but Rihanna didn’t.
We should be clear. It’s not clear what occurred during the scuffle - or who did what to whom.
But things have changed since Saturday night. Now EXCLUSIVELY reports say that Rihanna does NOT want Chris Brown to be criminally punished for the alleged assault. According to an EXTREMELY reliable insider, Rihanna is NO LONGER assisting investigators in their criminal case against Chris Brown.
Unfortunately for Chris, that’s probably not going to make the charges go away. Police claim that, on the scene of the incident, Rihanna identified Chris Brown as the man who assaulted her. Additionally, police have physical evidence. OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED that Rihanna’s face and arm were severely bruised in the incident and Chris suffered from minor bruising as well.
There is some evidence in Chris’ favor, however. For example, according to a reader on the scene, Rihanna did NOT call the police alleging that Chris assaulted her. It was a bystander that called 9-1-1. Shortly afterwards, the police arrived on scene and interviewed Rihanna.

# Third, Chris did not punch Rihanna in her face because she gave him herpes. This rumor is floating around the net and it’s A LIE. Chris saw the cold sore just like the rest of us weeks ago – and it didn’t stop him from messing with her. This story is nothing to joke about. Domestic violence is a serious subject, and Chris Brown is facing serious charges – we shouldn’t make up fake ish about this situation

Man Killed By Cell Phone?? Madness..
A man has died after his mobile phone exploded, severing a major artery in his neck, according to reports.
The man, thought to be a shop assistant in his twenties at a computer shop in Guangzhou, China, died after he put a new battery in his phone. It was believed that he may have just finished charging the battery and had put the phone in his breast pocket when it exploded.
According to the local Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News, the accident happened on January 30. An employee at the shop told Chinese media that she heard a loud bang and saw her colleague lying on the floor of the shop in a pool of blood. The employee said the victim had recently changed the battery in his mobile phone.
Chinese authorities have yet to determine the make and model of the phone and its battery. Police were investigating whether the phone and battery were counterfeit.
Local reports said that this was the ninth recorded cellphone explosion in China since 2002. In the most high profile recent incident, in June 2007, a 22-year-old welder, Xiao Jinpeng, died from chest wounds when his mobile phone exploded while he was at work at an iron mill in Gansu province.
Lithium batteries are widely used in mobile phones - but if they are overcharged or exposed to heat, the inflammable liquid inside can explode.
Motorola and Nokia, two of the world's biggest mobile phone makers, denied links to the distributors of problem batteries in China, suggesting they were counterfeit.
